Hallie Hawkins is a trained lawyer, and Shay Prosser is a former financial advisor. Both have also been licensed insurance agents. They use their range of experience to help people become educated and confident in their short-term, mid-term and long-term financial and legal planning. In their presentations, they address two main themes. First, each person has the ability to control their financial and legal destiny if they have the right knowledge. Second, financial and legal planning issues are intertwined. Topics for high school students include: cash flow basics -- learn to manage your income and expenses; credit reports and credit scores -- what you need to know; and keeping your money and investing for the future -- saving, investing and growing your money. Presentations range from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Speakers are located in Charlotte, NC and are available for a fee in person, via Skype, phone or web presentation.
