School administrators should contact VCEE or a center for economic education in their area if interested in planning professional development opportunities for their teachers.

Since 2010, almost 1000 teachers have attended the economics or personal finance institutes.  The 40-42 hour institutes were provided by VCEE and its affiliated university-based centers, in conjunction with the Federal Reserve, Financial Planning Association, Bureau of Insurance, VA Bankers Association, VA Departments of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Virginia Society of CPAs.
